Hamlyn self-launched his label after leaving a career as a qualified land surveyor to pursue further education in fashion design, bringing a calculated eye to a creative profession and fast tracking the brand’s success by forfeiting coursework in favour of practical construction. Designing in a studio space quickly cultivated a strong brand identity which experiments with eccentricity, quickly capturing the attention of local and international buyers.
